WOMEN AUTHORS’ SHOWCASE

The IBWC will feature a FIRST for the group at this upcoming meeting

Entitled “WOMEN AUTHORS’ SHOWCASE”, it will mark the first time we are devoting a monthly meeting to members & guests who have authored a book, written an article, or written a script.

If it’s a book, the author will stand up take the “stage”….then tell us what her book is called, what it is about (a short synopsis) and then read a few excerpts from this book.

If the book is for sale, you might want to raffle one off so we can publicize it on our website as well as social media. If it’s published, we’ll feature the name of the book, the author and where it can be bought. If you’ve written a script, we can arrange to have a reading of excerpts from that script (any actors present in our audience?), and if it’s an article, the author can read excerpts from that article’s media sites. So…if you’re a writer in any form…., then we want to hear from you!!! Who knows? It may lead to fame and fortune!

Admission is $10 for members, $25 non-members and includes lunch, compliments of Atria Plainview.
