DESCRIPTION:  \nWe can possess all the knowledge in the world…but if we cannot communicate it effectively\, we are of little use to others. “Knowledge is to be shared\,” said Plato\, adding that “Wise men speak because they have something to say\, (whereas) fools speak because they have to say something.” \nJoin us for a very informative and interactive seminar led by Monica Bennett\, a Tedx Talks speaker (see her on YouTube) who has sage advice\nfor all of us who are seeking to cultivate relationships with new clients or friends and/or enhance the relationships with existing ones. She will cover topics such as:\n How we communicate with ourselves\n What makes us want to go “deeper” with the person we are talking to?\n What makes us want to go from a transactive communication to a transformative one?\n How to go from resistance (“she’s probably trying to sell me something” ) to building trust (“I’d like to hear what she has to say)…and much more! \nIn addition to the seminar we will be presenting a 10-minute Member Spotlight featuring Barb Herd of “The Good Life.”\nThe event is open to all and includes a light lunch and networking. \n\n\n\nFee\n\n\nMember $5.00 USDNon-member $20.00 USD\n\n\n\n  \n
