DESCRIPTION: \n\n“Impromptu Speaking: Preparation and Practice“\n\nThe IBWC is pleased to present Faye Outar\, an active Toastmaster as our speaker. She is the current Vice President of Education for Toastmasters Premier Club and Immediate Past President as well as the Area Director for Area 85 of Toastmasters District 46. She is an active speaker and facilitator of various workshops on communication and leadership across the NY area. \nFaye is employed by National Grid\, an international energy company and has over fifteen years’ experience in the energy industry. She holds an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Brooklyn College and a Master’s of Science in Organizational Management from St Joseph’s College. Faye has held positions in the Customer Organization\, Insurance and Risk Management\, Scheduling and Trading groups as well as Gas Supply Planning. \nAdmission to the seminar is $20 non-members and $5 for members. Lunch is included and there will time to network. RSVP no later than November 6th so we can get an accurate lunch count by emailing us at ibwc@ymail.com or calling Karen at 631.754.6640. \nAttention Pet Lovers!!!Please help IBWC support the dogs and cats at Little Shelter Animal Rescue & Adoption Center. If anyone has ever had and loved a pet\, please honor that pet by supporting nonprofit shelters like Little Shelter. They take in abused\, abandoned\, neglected and homeless animals that will hopefully be adopted soon by loving “parents.” At this November 10th meeting we will be collecting the following: \nCat & dog bedsCat trees & scratching postsUnopened cat & dog toysUnopened cat & dog foodCollars & LeashesSmall washable blanketsTowelsCreamy peanut butter\, cream cheese and American cheeseNew rawhides\, pigs ears\, bones\, etc.Kuranda bedsLarge stainless steel feeding bowlsSmall washable throw rugs ..or any small amount of money you can spare.
