SUMMARY:An Afternoon of Theater Improvisation for Business People
DESCRIPTION:Improvisational theater training is not just for performers.  In fact\, it is often used to teach executives\, business owners\, entrepreneurs\, sales people and many others how to think on their feet\, listen to what is being said and respond to questions or comments to keep the conversation flowing.  Improv theater games have proved to be invaluable to public speakers as well. Chris Baker\, improvisational acting instructor for the Bare Bones Theater Company is our moderator. Chris has a performing arts\, corporate and educational background\, making him an ideal choice to lead the seminar and train us how to become more effective communicators in our both our professional and personal lives. \nThe exercises will help you learn to: \n\nListen\, respond and engage other people based on what you hear\nWin someone over to your side\nThink swiftly\, intuitively and more creatively\nTake the initiative and become a better leader\nLighten up and find humor\, even in difficult situations.\n\nEveryone will participate.
